Stromgren uvby observations of the southern detached eclipsing binary GZ CMa (HD 56429; BD 16 deg 1860), obtained using a 30-arcsec-diameter circular aperture and a four-channel photometer and photon-counting system on the 50-cm Copenhagen reflecting telescope at ESO on 48 nights during the period 1977-1981, are reported. The data are presented in a table and comprise 928 magnitude differences in each color, with mean errors about 0.006 mag in u, 0.004 mag in v and b, and 0.005 mag in y.
