The components of the Einstein tensor and other relations are given for a cosmological model that is homogeneous and isotropic in a 5D theory of gravity of the Kaluza-Klein type. These relations are particularly relevant to the embedding for general relativity with variable rest mass proposed by Wesson (1983), and may also be of use in other Kaluza-Klein theories.
