Some statistical properties of the galaxy groups identified by Geller and Huchra (1983) have been examined, taking into account contamination and incompleteness in luminosity. Different weighting procedures do not significantly affect the mass-to-light ratio whose median turns out to be about 400 M_sun;/L_sun; (H0 = 100 km s-1Mpc-1). On the other hand, virial radii are affected by weighting; this fact, together with the behaviour of the mean pairwise separation among spirals and ellipticals and/or lenticulars, gives evidence of morphological segregation.
