We make the first constraints on a two-parameter parametrization model of equation of state of dark energy, w(z) = w0+w1z, in a spatially flat universe using a collection of 12 γ-ray burst (GRB) sample and 186 Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) data containing 157 gold and 29 silver set. It is shown that we can constrain neither parameters w1 nor w0 using GRBs data only. Although the confidence regions using the combination of GRBs sample and SN Ia data greatly shrink, there is no great improvement due to GRBs sample.
