Configuration interaction (CI) wave functions have been used to calculate the excitation threshold and the length and velocity form of the oscillator strengths (fL and fV, respectively) for 3p63d 2D → 3p53d4s 2P0, 2D0, and 2F0 transitions in Co IX, Cu XI, and Zn XII ions of the potassium isoelectronic sequence within the LS coupling framework. The agreement between our length and velocity values of the oscillator strengths is reasonably good.
