The authors explore the structure and evolution of three filaments in AR 7500. As an unusual example, a filament of one chirality lies between the other two of opposite chirality, and two cusps are formed by them. The complicated evolution of these filaments during 8-day observation shows that filaments of opposite chirality can not join, and that their ends can be juxtaposed but not be directly connected. The nature of filament's chirality may be interpreted in terms of the helicity of solar magnetic fields.
