Angular diameter measurements at 2.2 microns are reported for the late-type giant stars Alpha Boo, Alpha Tau, Gamma Dra, Beta And, and Mu Gem. Using the well-known Michelson method, fringe visibilities are measured in the vicinity of the first null of the visibility function. The fringe disappearance is readily found for visibility levels of a few percent, and very accurate angular sizes are derived. Values for the effective temperatures of the observed stars are found which fit the T(eff)-(V-K) relation obtained by Ridgway et al. (1980) for normal giant stars of luminosity class III. A new effective temperature of 4240 + or - 118 K is found for the well-studied star Alpha Boo.
