A geometrical-element analysis of published photometric and spectroscopic observational data on 10 W UMa-type totally eclipsing binaries is presented. The stars are chosen on the basis of three criteria: photoelectric photometry, light-curve symmetry with respect to conjunctions, and light minima produced by alternation of total and annular eclipses. The data are analyzed in the frequency domain by the method of Kopal (1982), which considers the effects of mutual distortion and irradiation and the degrees of limb and gravity darkening. The sum of the fractional radii is found to be about 0.75 for each of the 10 stars, supporting the hypothesis that the components of these binaries are in actual contact. Discrepancies between the values of first-contact phase angle (theta-1) predicted by this model and those calculated from the observations by a best-fit method (Jabbar, 1983) are discussed.
