A new formula for the scattering of light has been tried out on 52 scans of the solar and lunar limbs during the partial eclipse of February 25, 1971. The complete stray light function can be handled with the method of numerical integration. The corrections for stray light in a sunspot are shown for two cases. The FORTRAN programs are presented with comments.
