Photoheliograms obtained with a photospheric telescope are used to plot the distribution of all possible distances between the bright nodes of the facular area in the blue region of the spectrum (lambda = 410 millimicrons). The facular area is characterized by two parameters: the most probable least separation of nodes (= 17,000 km) and the period of alternation of the maxima in the distribution area (= 15,000). This can be explained by assuming that the nodes are located on the borders of cells with a radius of 15,000 km, preferably at the intersection of three neighboring cells.
