The position of the luminosity maximum on photometric curves is sought as a function of the physical and dynamic parameters of meteors and atmospheric conditions. Mean dependence of the maximum on the density, initial mass, and velocity of meteors and on their sighting height and the zenith distance of the radiant are found. The correlation between the relative position of the maximum and these parameters is expressed in an empirical formula. A relation between the position of the maximum and the magnitude of the absolute luminosity at the maximum is established.
