In the paper ``How to Identify Pre-Protostellar Cores'' by Erik M. Gregersen and Neal J. Evans II (ApJ, 538, 260 [2000]), in § 4.1, the text should read ``we ... propose a frequency of 260.255339+/-0.000035 GHz ... 0.139 MHz lower than the standard value.'' The values for the velocities of this line in Table 3 were done using the correct rest frequency and so are not changed.
