The gravitational equations for a spherically symmetric distribution of incoherent matter are analyzed. The interior and the exterior solution are completely determined. The exterior solution is reduced to the Schwarzschild solution by a suitable transformation of coordinates. The Friedman models of relativistic cosmology are finally obtained as special cases of the general solution.
