A direct method of integration of the transfer equation is developed for a concentration distribution model of gaseous constituents. The method is applied to the lower stratosphere and to the constituents H2O and O3. The results are presented in the form of synthetic luminance spectra in the IR range from 50 to 100 per cm. This method may be extended to other constituents and applied in different spectral ranges.
