In this paper solar activity prediction (SAP) issued by Beijing Astronomical Observatory for the launch of Chinese satellites and missiles in 1988 are reported and the prediction results are compared with those of Space Environment Service Center or World Warning Agency. It appears that effects of the two kinds of predictions are similar to each other; furthermore, present short and medium term SAPs can be in accord with solar activity observations, but the accordance is rough.
