The transient MAXI J0556-332 reported in ATels #3102 (Matsumara et al.), #3327 (Maitra et al.) etc. was automatically detected by the CRTS in the optical (SSS110126:055646-331027 - see http://nesssi.cacr.caltech.edu/SSS/20110126/1101260330384121960p.html for the lightcurve) a few days after its discovery by MAXI/GSC in X-ray. Looking back at the optical lightcurve, we notice that it had not started optically brightening at least until 8 Jan 2011, and did not have a detected outburst since Aug 2005.
