The theory that elements with mass greater than He are derived from nuclear reactions inside stars is analyzed. The theory proposes that all elements except He and H are manufactured inside stars and realized into the universe through stellar explosions. The theory is evaluated by study data from SN1987A. Two types of proposed reactions, nuclear fusion and neutron capture, are described. The data from the supernova explosion reveal that the element formation theory is broadly correct.
