X-ray sources of Aquila X-1 are examined by characterizing Aquila X-1's
optical identification employing an all-sky monitor. Attention is given
to spectral analyses of the quiescent and outburst spectra of the
object. Two models of Aquila X-1 are examined, one as a recurrent nova
and the other as a classified X-ray source.
