In the present paper, a mathematical model of radiation from an
accreting nonmagnetic white dwarf is constructed under the assumption
that the process is spherically symmetric and the star does not rotate.
The parameters characterizing the accretion to white dwarf are examined,
and possible mechanisms of X-ray and UV emission are proposed.
