Scientific paper

Radiometrically dated granitoids of migmatitic origin from southwestern Hungary display multicomponent NRM. The direction of the component of high-temperature origin corresponds to a 280- to 300-m.y. magnetic pole in the Northern Eurasian framework.
It is overprinted by haematite magnetization of low-temperature (<300°C) origin, which has a direction similar to the CRM of granite aplites and bostonite. The overprint is probably of uppermost Jurassic/Lower Cretaceous age.
