About 85 paleomagnetic poles are known for North America in the Devonian period. They are used to construct the most probable trajectories of the paleopoles. For this purpose, detailed tables have been compiled which include the name of the corresponding formation, the type of rock, the number of sampling sites, the number of samples, the rock age, and values of parameters as determined from field, laboratory, and theoretical investigations. It is noted that the paleomagnetic reconstruction of the North American platform and tectonic-stratigraphic regions of the Appalachians in the Devonian period is complicated by the presence of several remanent magnetizations.
