While solar system organics exhibit small fluctuations in δ^1^3C
as compared to δ^1^5N and δD, an interstellar origin cannot
be excluded. This study off ^1^3C fractionation in the cold, dense ISM
reveals an enrichment in H_2CO that remains to be explained.
