The bistatic radar measurement of the Venus surface from Venera 10 during October-December 1975 was carried out in two modes: direction of the parabolic antenna at a fixed angle to the surface of the planet, and in occultation conditions when most of the radiation pattern was directed at the earth. This paper presents results of measurements conducted in the first mode from November 25 to 29 on two regions of the Venus surface: one about 80 km wide and 800 km long, the other the same width but 1200 km long. Information on the heights and mean-square inclinations of surface relief is presented graphically for the two regions.
