The main lines of OH at 1667 MHz and 1665 MHz have been observed in comet West 1975n during postperihelion passage. The 1667-MHz line was observed in emission with time-varying intensity. The 1665-MHz line was initially in emission and was stronger than the 1667-MHz line, but later changed to weak absorption. The present results generally tend to support the model of ultraviolet pumping by the sun, which was proposed earlier to explain OH observations of comet Kohoutek 1973f.
