The possible structural features of the Draconid meteor stream are determined on the basis of observational data and results from numerical simulations of matter ejection from Comet Giacobini-Zinner for all ten appearances listed in the Marsden (1979) catalog. It is proposed that the earth crosses the same region of the meteor stream during every sixth appearance of the comet. Estimates are given of the possible dimensions of the cometary nucleus and the surface temperatures required for matter ejection at different heliocentric distances for a given velocity range.
