Observations of 47 Tuc in five bands between 1550 and 3300 A by the Astronomical Netherlands Satellite are presented. The brightness distribution at 2200 and 3300 A agrees well with that in U; the color index C22-33 does not vary with radius. The excess flux between 1550 and 2500 A, observed at one position, is attributed to the B 8 III star in the cluster; the ultraviolet observations indicate a spectral type around A 0.
