A dynamical analysis of large scale structures suggests an enormous amount of non-luminous matter. Two points of view are in conflict: for some astronomers the amount of dark matter grows with the scale of structures and reaches the critical density, while for others the ultimate density is about the 1/10 of the critical density. The author describes the methods of dynamical analysis for galaxies and clusters of galaxies and gives some comments on the nature of dark matter.
