The sourceless higher-dimensional Einstein equations admit regular
localized solutions, with the well-known Kaluza-Klein monopoles among
them. A family of stationary vortex or soliton solutions is presented.
These solutions are metrical kinks in the sense of Finkelstein and
Misner.
