The sentence containing Eq. (1) should read: "A test for the uniformity of axial direction φ_i_ is the Rayleigh test, which uses the parameter R_2_=[({SIGMA} cos 2{PHI}_i_)^2^ + ({SIGMA} sin 2φ_i_)^2^]^1/2^ N^-1^." (1) Also, the first two panels of Figs. 3(a) and 3(b) should each show stippling throughout, not just within segmented areas. These corrections alter none of the discussion or conclusions.
