Stars: Early Type, Spectrophotometry
Scientific paper
Spectral-intensity distributions, relative to Zeta Puppis, are given for 172 stars. The data permitted the determination of the size and position of the Balmer discontinuity, the emission in the Balmer continuum for "ce" stars, and the gradient of the continuum in the ultraviolet and blue-green-yellow part of the spectrum. For some stars, the relative magnitude curve shows an ultraviolet deficiency, which was also measured considering its possible physical significance.
