An alternative interpretation of the observational results on the angular two-point correlation functions is presented. They are used for determining the upper cut-off R(co) of a cellular structure for the universe, each cell being a fractal, but randomly distributed with respect to the others. The values obtained seem to support the above scenario, even if further analyses are needed.
