The paper discusses the chemical analysis of the atmosphere of CP 3 star Pi(1) Boo by the method of synthetic spectrum using an LTE model atmosphere. The Ca II K line was calculated on the assumption of an NLTE approximation considering partial redistribution. The selection of a suitable model atmosphere for CP 3 stars and the influence of gf-values on the resulting abundance of elements in the atmosphere of the star are discussed. As expected, the accuracy of the chemical analysis was much affected by the selection of spectral lines and atomic parameters.
