Optical spectra have been obtained for the brighter members of the Tololo list of emission-line galaxies. A concurrent 6-cm radio survey detected seven out of 112 objects examined above the 3-sigma flux limit of 14 mJy. Correlations between observed quantities as well as particularly interesting objects are discussed. It is notable that the radio emitters are either red galaxies of rather low excitation or blue objects with He II 4686-A emission. Generally the objects found in the lists resemble those found earlier by Markarian.
