The problem of radiative transfer in an inhomogeneous finite medium with bounding surfaces which reflect both diffusely and specularly is considered. Numerical results are obtained for the partial heat flux using the bivariational technique. The results obtained for the homogeneous case show good agreement with the exact results of Oezisik (1972).
