Long-slit spectroscopy is presented of the environs of six QSOs. Data were obtained at 5 A resolution in 1.5-2.0 arcsec seeing with a low-noise CCD detector on the Canada-France-Hawaii telescope. New direct images with 1 arcsec resolution are presented of four objects, one of which is tidally disturbed. The results indicate the presence of old and young stellar populations in QSO host galaxies. Extended line emission is seen in four objects, indicating nonsystematic relative motions of a few hundred km/s. Five of the objects have no radio emission, and these all have strong Fe II nuclear emission lines.
