Results are presented of simultaneous high time-resolution UBVRI photometry of two X-ray bursters, V801 Arae and the eclipsing system UY Volantis. During the observations of three orbital periods of V801 Arae and six orbital periods of UY Vol, two optical bursts of V801 Arae and five of UY Vol were detected. With one exception, the bursts of both objects appeared to belong to two separate groups with different decay times. For both objects, cross correlation functions of the U and R bands showed small delays (less than 1 sec) of the bursts in the R band relative to U. Color indices did not vary significantly during the bursts.
