We present results relating to observations of the lunar sodium atmosphere during the 1999 Quadrantids meteor shower, on January 2 - 3, i.e. on the night of the predicted maximum and on the following night. The Moon was just past full. At first glance the intensity of the sodium emission lines doesn't show any enhancement relative to published values for similar lunar phase. This contrast with some previous observations of the Moon during other meteor shower as the Leonids. Possible explainations, for istance in terms of impact energy difference, are presented here. Support was received from Agenzia Spaziale Italiana.
