Observations of He I at the wavelength of 6678 A in the blue horizontal-branch star Feige 86 indicate the presence of He-3 with a He-3 to He-4 ratio of about 0.7. Feige 86 has an effective temperature and surface gravity which are very similar to those of the Population I He-3 stars. This result greatly strengthens the link between the Population I Bp stars and the He-weak blue horizontal-branch stars and argues that diffusion is responsible for the He deficiency of both groups of stars.
