To determine the structural and spectral properties of the cooling flow
around A1835 (Allen et al, MN, 283, 263, 1996). This includes
measurement of the temperatures of the multiphase medium, excess
absorption, any abundance gradients, interaction with the central.radio
source, and the mass profile to compare with that deduced from lensing.
