Scientific paper
Results of scientific investigations obtained from the Ulysses encounter
to Jupiter that took place on February 8 1992 are discussed. Particular
attention is given to the Ulysses observations of Jupiter plasma,
magnetic field, radio and plasma waves, plasma composition, the Io
Plasma Torus, energetic particles, and polar-cap region.
