JHK photometry is presented for 54 distant southern Milky Way Cepheids, 9 of which were discovered in a recent survey of Crux and Centaurus. Color excesses obtained from the H-K period-color relation show excellent agreement with those obtained from BVI photometry. Distances are computed using the K band period-luminosity relation. Five of the newly discovered Cepheids and one of those previously known are particularly well positioned for a determination of R(0), the distance to the galactic center.
