Scientific paper

Some results are given that have been obtained at Maryland, based on observations with the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope (WSRT) and the Very Large Array (VLA) on the quiet sun (supergranulation network and limb profile), active regions (sunspot-associated regions and coronal loops), and flaring regions. Topics covered include: observations of filaments; microwave active regions; determination of magnetic fields in the low corona; radio observations of coronal loops; and observations of flares with the VLA.
