Recent reports of short-period variability of 53 Cam indicate the presence of periods ranging from ≡20 to 80 min. An earlier investigation (Percy) shows no such variability. The author presents over 26 hr of differential photometry obtained on three nights which indicate no short-period variations. 53 Cam may be similar to the Ap star 21 Com, reported by a number of authors both to show or to lack short-period variability.
