Only the latter part of the recent morning elongation - with Venus at
high phase - was favourable for UK observers, but the publicity for a
ground-based observing campaign through the ESA Venus Express (VEX)
website and our Journal [116(2), 60-61 (2006)] helped bring in more data
from abroad.
