Geomagnetic Field: Solar Flares, Geomagnetic Field: Disturbances

The correlation between the geomagnetic disturbances caused by solar flares and the manifold factors is studied using the multi-factor successive regression analysis method. These factors include the heliographic longitude and latitude, the corrected area, and the continued time of solar flares, the earth's heliographic latitude and the angle between the orientation of the geomagnetic dipole and the sun-earth line. The results indicate the geomagnetic disturbances caused by solar flares are both affected by the characters of solar flares and the spatial locations of the earth.
