The Jefferson Laboratory E93-038 collaboration measured the ratio of the electric form factor to the magnetic form factor of the neutron, G^n_E/G^n_M, via recoil polarimetry from the quasielastic ^2H(e,e'n)^1)H reaction at Q^2 = 1.47 (GeV/c)^2 in Hall C of the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. A polarimeter designed specifically for E93-038 [1] was used to measure the up-down scattering asymmetry from the transverse component of the recoil neutron's polarization vector, and a dipole magnet located in front of the polarimenter was used to precess the polarization vector in the scattering plane through an angle of \chi. Sequential measurements of the scattering asymmetry with the polarization vector precessed through angles \chi = 0^circ and \chi = ± 90^circ were made during January 2001. Preliminary results for G^nE at Q^2 = 1.47 (GeV/c)^2 will be presented. ^1R. Madey et al, A.I.P. Proceedings No. 339, 47-54 (1995).
