CDF, a collider experiment at the Tevatron, presents the status of searches for new physics in final states involving photons. Events containing photons are predicted by models from Gauge-mediated Supersymmetry to Technicolor and Higgs. However, in order to avoid limitations of models, we plan to search all observable event signatures. The CDF detector, with a proven central calorimeter and an improved plug calorimeter and associated detectors, together with 2 TeV center-of-mass energy and increased luminosity, will be at the forefront of these searches.
