The use of spin degrees of freedom has become an important tool in the investigation of the structure of hadrons. The large luminosities now available, along with high beam and target polarizations, has allowed us to make precise measurements of the properties of the hadrons previously unavailable in traditional unpolarized scattering. In this talk I will present a summary of recent results in the field and present an overview of experiments which will achieve results in the near future. In particular, I will focus on measurements of elastic and inelastic nucleon form factors, weak form factors from parity violating electron scattering, polarized parton distributions, and fundamental sum rule tests.
