We have performed X-ray spectral fitting on low-mass X-ray binaries (LMXBs) found in 15 nearby galaxies that were observed with Chandra, ranging from ellipticals to S0s to the bulges of spiral galaxies. We find little difference in the spectral properties of the LMXBs from galaxy to galaxy, and a combined simultaneous fit to all the sources yields best fit values of Γ = 1.53 ± 0.02 (if a power law model is adopted) or kT_brem = 8.0 ± 0.6 keV (if a bremsstrahlung model is adopted). There is a small, but measurable difference in the spectral properties of LMXBs with X-ray luminosities above 2.0 × 10^38 ergs s-1 to LMXBs below this luminosity. We also present the Log N--Log LX curves for the sources in each galaxy, and compare them to those of other types of systems (e.g., spirals, starbursts).
