Regularization methods are used to determine the structure of a 3D potential magnetic field above the chromosphere on the basis of fibril orientation data and the position of the polarity dividing line. In the potential approximation the problem is reduced to a 1D Fredholm integral equation of the first kind. Existing regularization methods allow this ill-posed problem to be solved. Results of numerical calculations of the model problem are presented.
